Start Doing This ASAP

You need to start doing this as soon as possible. Act 3 released yesterday and it made every seasonal weapon way better and easier to get. So in this video I’m going to go over all the changes and how to farm for these ultra strong weapons even as a solo player.

Seems like a noticeable change. I finished expert court of blades like 8-10 times at 13 bosses, and some runs with 5-8 bosses, and literally NEVER HAVE SEEN A SINGLE ADEPT. Was convinced that those adepts were fake:D

I did the in the deep mission on my hunter and was maxed out in 35 minutes. Use strand, Consume the taken mastery every time it spawns. Which is after every 6 or 7 ish kills I believe. You'll see a small taken orb, and an on screen prompt when you're near it saying consume. Be quick about consuming them tho, as these orbs will despawn!

The bow with Successful Warm-Up and Adagio actually cancels out the negative side of Adagio, providing a slightly faster draw time with 20% extra damage

Do the story with different characters, that'll level up pretty fast as well. Plus you won't just be mindlessly running court of blades or expert nether.

My grind tip. If you are on the taken side quest / arsenal seasonal challenges, head to the Whisper mission and farm the taken thralls under the green room. You’ll spawn an orb every one and half waves. Supers give you bonus orb spawns, so equip an exotic that returns super energy / fitting siphons. Just make sure to head all the way to back with the narrow dead end, because if you die anywhere else you’ll spawn at the beginning of the mission.

Got 2 levels from the taken balls just while farming the moon activity for the guardian game challenge. I pick these up every time i see them, worth it.

someone posted a reputation cheese recently, you need the essentia rune upgrade from the shaping slab, and it must be active,


then you load into the nether, go pick the first essentia material in the nether you see, and reload the nether,


keep doing this to gather essentias,

the rune will let you keep that only essentia, as on activity failue/reload you get to keep half or less than half of them(but it gets rounded up), gather loads of those, turn them in, and boom.

I’ve been running court on expert getting the 13 boss kills every time. Played for hours yesterday and today and I’ve gotten one adept and one shiny. It’s not dropping the weapon from my tome either. wtf?

Start waiting for Bungie to fix the softlock. Happen to my fireteam 3 times in a row we just disbanded after the third attempt.

Maybe we were killing the bosses too quick I’m assuming with 3 chaos reach warlocks lol. But still softlock is annoying when your team is able to quickly eliminate the bosses. Like it’s ironic to be softlock for baking the bosses considering you being times in the boss areas

When did they update it so defeating more bosses gives you more loot? I couldn’t find it in any patch notes

Just load into nether with boon that lets you retain materials or something upon failure, grab a metastisized thingy, go to orbit, rinse and repeat, able to rep up both levels fast, you can get around 7-8 per 10min, and 50 levels one level, 3 levels in 40-50min, passive af, cheers

You don't want to do this at all until bungie fix Court of Blades from ending your run midway because they can't spawn a boss in properly. Its happened to me 2 times in a row, and its killed my desire to play 2 days into act 3.

Is it still worth it if I haven't bought the season pass yet? I do like these weapons perks and such, but if apollo or frontier releases with better ones I might just wait.
