One personal technique that I find helpful is not only determining the direction of motion, but how energetic it is. A weak yes is seen as less enthusiastic than a strong yes.

My Grandmother could take a piece of red thread about 2 ft. long run it through the eye of a sewing needle tie the ends together and have her pregnant guest sit in a chair and have her lift one hand up and turn it over exposing her wrist. It made no difference, left or right .Grandmother would then hold the tied end and let the needle hang about 1 inch over the wrist. The needle would begin to swing back and forth in one direction . Depending on the direction would determine the baby be born a boy or girl ... I have watched her do this maybe 4 or 5 times and her answers were always right! Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this?

I have a bloodstone pendulum that I use whenever something is lost or missed placed. It has always helped me and even my friends when we can't find something. I also ask it if I ever have a loved one or friend close by or are they ok and such. I love using pendulums they can be very helpful.

My first pendulum I made with my Mom when I was a kid. It was a simple stone we found together on a beach tied with some cotton twine. I've used a pendulum to locate lost items, to determine dates for travel, to confirm food ideas for dinners and potluck offerings. I've used it in conjunction with the Runes for both divination and non-divination uses. I know your video was a short introduction to pendulums, but I think one important movement to confirm beyond yes/no is "I don't know" or "I don't want to answer". This was a decent intro video, I hope you do more with the pendulum.

Embuing a pendulum with a charged energy spirit is fun if a person is comfortable with spirit work. This way the pendulum becomes a talking pocket companion. Say you go to a shop and are undecided which deck to buy, put the 3 on the counter and see which one the pendulum spirit gets excited about. The response can be quite dramatic.

I once used a Herkimer diamond (common where I'm from in nys) on a plain old sewing thread to find my foster mom in another state! I got the idea from watching Charmed! She was surprised when I confined her and explained how I found her! This was about 20 years ago.

My pendulum gos side to side for no and in a circle or yes. I asked it to show me and it did. Thank u for showing me how to use it because I was unsure what yes and no was.

I use it to talk to the spirit of my house . He doesn’t always answer but mostly he does . I made one myself out of a chain and Chrystal .

For anyone who wants to try this. Take a finger ring that you wear often and tie it to a piece of thread. Seated at a table, put your elbow on the table to keep it steady, and hold the string so the ring is an inch or so above the table. The theory is that something spiritual moves the pendulum, so it's not you talking to the pendulum, it's you talking to the spirit.
