This scene and the therapy scene both fucked me up… because I see myself in Gar and that last line is the kicker… you really let yourself spiral and are absolutely convinced that you can just get out of it… and you have the tools…. Even when you don’t..

The moral of the story I’m getting here is that Beast Boy should have been in therapy YEARS before this, probably after his bio mom died, and definitely after the Doom Patrol died. I get that his dad doesn’t care about him, but did really none of the adult heroes think to intervene?
