Thanks for the great example! This is a great inspirational project. One thing that always comes to my mind regarding cloud projects is: how much does it cost to train such a model? It would be great to know about those details (at least in the blog post).

I wonder if you could do some sentiment analysis with a raspberrypi smart mirror to label which garments you enjoy the most. This could be frequency of wear and sentiment. Then recommend outfits for various occasions based on calendar events and weather. This is super cool stuff and thought provoking :)
