If I ever go back to college, I want this guy as a professor.

This is a few years old now, but great vids. For oil, there was a series that basically went from finding the oil in the ground, all the way to using the different oils produced. This would be great to have a similar series for natural gas. It is sort of here in this playlist, but from start to finish, in order, like the oil was. But, either way, very interesting to learn a bit about all of these topics, keep 'em coming :)

This is the best explanation I've ever watched about hydraulic fracturing, thank you so much!

Discovered this guy after looking for info on Chernobyl after watching the miniseries. This guy gives the most enjoyable and easy-to-understand (I'm an ESL teacher with no degree) lectures I've ever watched.

Glad I found this you tuber. He describes the processes and the science behind them in a clear and concise way. Great info!

I consider myself relatively well versed in this subject and in watching this video I was just absolutely amazed and impressed with how well done and how informative it was. I learned a lot. Thank you for making it!

Hard to believe I've only discovered this guy a week ago on Utube, excellent videos. While this ability to drill sideways and fracture is impressive and I'm glad we have it, I cannot imagine how this can be cheap enough to be commercially viable. Also one cannot ignore that there's only so much. Whatever relief this has offered should be used for long term benefit, not short term gain

Finally a professor that teaches science instead of socialism and race theory

These casings through the aquifer. Worried about life span, failure rate, compliance and monitoring.

My main concern is preserving the structure of underground water. Underground water is a vital asset we can keep using indefinitely if it is done effectively. But fracking may break up the layers of non-permiable water and contaminating them. We can only get fracking once. But carefully managed artesian water structure can last indefinitely. Clean water is actually more important than gas. Especially for farming.

Fracking is ingenius. My neighbours had a well drilled for water and when they were at 200ft, they had a small drizzle but then they fracked the well and now they have lots of water. Certainly I rather see people in one country drilling and fracking gas wells then attacking another country to steal their resources. There is plenty to go around.
Of course good environmental standards are important to go along with any project too.

I’m not trying to be a tree hugger or anything, I live in oil country and benefit from oil, but I’ve worked on a frac site for a while and their is a lot this guy left out about fracking....

It’s exiting to know that our country is energy independent. It’s the best time in all of history to be alive.

Can you do a video "Did Joe Biden say he was going to ban fracking"?

"People" who complain about fracking don't know anything about what it even is.

Fracking not so bad, but most of the workers that go with producing the wells are the problem.
