The girls are enjoying the gifts from Annie (Quvenzhané Wallis) but Miss Colleen (Cameron Diaz) doesn't like seeing happiness in the house, but even after telling them to stay quiet, she sees the little girls everywhere.

Annie has spent all her life in foster care with the cruel Miss Hannigan. Things begin to look optimistic when New York mayoral candidate William Stacks decides to adopt her.

After minute 1:39 you can notice a slight change like in the echo of Cameron Diaz's voice since at the beginning of the song when he screams or sings you can hear his echo. After minute 1:39 it is heard as if they had simply extracted the audio of the recording and they would have simply pasted the voice recording of Cameron Dias as is done in inshot

I have just watched clips from this movie and it doesn't hold a candle to the 1982 Annie Musical! But the original was my all time favorite movie as a kid. The original is like watching a Broadway musical. The award winning Broadway star Ann Reinking's dancing and singing were absolutely engaging and wonderful! Not to mention the other top notch singing, dancing, and acting of every single actor in the movie! Then you also have the awesome comedy of Carol Burnett. It was a true art of that can't be duplicated. This new Annie movie may be funny and cute, but it is not even in the same league as the original. They should have called it something else. I don't know why they keep trying to re-do every single movie? Especially the great ones!
