They could have signed both of them, even with Skinner, and chose not to. It will be Broberg and Holloway’s loss.

The only thing that cost us Broberg and Hallaway was the ridiculous contracts that St Louis offered them. No way they were worth that.

No, they were never going to offer that money to those two. Imagine they had signed both of them to 1.5 or so. Everyone would be going after management for not signing them for lower. It's easy in hindsight after the offer sheets but nobody expected those.

Also, it's a bit premature to pass judgement on Skinner or Arvidson part way through the season. It can take guys many months to get going with a new team. Not everyone obviously. Ultimately, they were brought in to provide extra scoring in the playoffs. After the playoffs will be a good time to judge whether they were worth it.

It doesn't help that they are both playing really good for the Blues too. Holloway has 10 goas 19 points already. I don't think it's a reach to say he's going to get 25-30 goals this year if he is reasonably healthy. And Broberg has 12 pts in 17 games and is a +6. And these guys are doing this playing for a borderline playoff team at best.

They should have been sign during the season mistake holland. On july one you let go foegele for Arvirdsson ok, you sign brown and janmark ok but you need to find away to sign broberg and holloway, pass on Perry pass on skinner even henrique and for me you dont trade mcleod. All does moves remind me of Chiarelli.
