I understand what you're saying that at the end of the day, no one cares if your teacher didn't cover a certain topic or was just overall a bad teacher.  But I don't think you should let the teachers off so easy - of course it is the student's responsibility to take initiative for his/her own learning, but how can you do that adequately if your teacher is not providing you with the necessary support and resources? A bad teacher makes it SO much more difficult to learn the concepts. My Chem SL exams are next week and I am not feeling prepared for some of the biggest topics. I have worked incredibly hard to try and prepare myself for my exams despite not being taught some of the most important concepts in class, and I'm not feeling able to learn some of the more conceptual topics properly. So you shouldn't just say "LEARN IT" as if it were that easy. Many students try really hard but simply can't get to where they want to be because of a poor teacher, and IB needs to be more aware of this. But thanks for the video. :)
