Over here in Australia switch games cost 70$ while some games cost 80$

Its like games started prohibitively expensive, got cheaper in the N64 era, became standardized in the GCN/PS2 era, and got more expensive in the PS5/Series era

But nowadays we have pre-order bonuses, DLCs which are already done before the game comes out, microtransactions and all this crap. That’s why the prices are almost the same.

The price is stupid because a some of the game will be the same as Botw with the same stuff like combat engine and other things as well
