I recommend Scarlett lost in the five lands by rajendra sarilla. Its about a fifteen year old warrior princess called scarlett that ends up in a different world where society is divided into four races based on skin colours - blue, pale, brown, and silver. What i loved most about the book were powerful female characters and brilliant action scenes. It's a fast paced novel with just 170 pages. This book is so good that it may become a big hollywood movie in future if it gets enough attention.

I'm a tween and I've read KOTLC. Don't worry, it can be a lot of information at times but it is TOTALLY worth it. It is literally one of my favorite book seiries ever! I have cried over a few deaths, but if you liked Harry Potter you are going to love this series :)
