if it bursts out often it is a good idea to cut the end of hose to get down to clean unstretched hose tip again. this may be harder/tighter to refit so just put end tip of hose in a small tub of hot water for a short time. it will warm up and this allows you to easily stretch/loosen the hose onto the adaptor for a more secure fitting. hose will cool down and shrink around fitting. tips my dad showed me.
