Currently building an app for my youth club. The app will be used as:
- an attendance tracker for the members,
- a payment tracker (to keep track of all the monthly subscriptions)

I am hosting it on a Raspberry Pi 4 and will use NFC/RFID cards reader to automate the whole process.

One project that I really enjoyed involved working with fractals. I managed to create the Mandelbrot set, Sierpenski Triangle and Barnsley's fern on a tkinter canvas. Would recommend this to others, the maths involved is relatively simple.

I've been learning python (my first time coding) for about 2 weeks now. So far I've created a fully functioning Dice Roll app that stores roll histories with an appealing tkinter gui. I've created a better looking calculator gui and added some functionality beyond the standard. I've made some other random generator guis in tkinter aswell. I've seen quite a few of your videos and others but i am not copying code, ive only posted on stackoverflow twice. I am just sitting there for hours stuck on something until i finally crack it with my own reasoning and the documentation. Thanks for the tips I hope Im on the right track. One thing I will say is that i have found coding to be extremely fun and engaging and I cant go a day without it now.

One of my most recent projects was a full-fledged text based Pokemon battle system. I wrote that in Java, which I learned pretty proficiently in high school, but since I found your channel, I've been learning python as that's what we're going to be using in college for the first year, so now I plan on writing a GUI in python for the Pokemon battle program. Your videos are so inspiring, and your channel is by far the most interesting and helpful programming channel I've found on YouTube. Keep up the good work!

As for a beginner I would suggest Intel chip assembly language programming.

For webscrapping I recommend selenium, Beautiful soup is too basic. Selenium enables you to automate the page clicking and typing included. And a lot of times Beautiful Soup cannot fetch some infomation becauae it doesnt let the page to load. For selenium you can tell the code to wait until something loads.

Funny thing: The first point (Django) is my day job, and the second one (Web Scraping) is what I'm learning currently on my own, with Scrapy and Beautiful Soup.

I like both, each one has its uses. I compare them as Flask and Django, where Flask/Beautiful Soup has no batteries included and everything you got is what you write, in Django/Scrapy has some scaffold when creating a new project.


The next Python-related tech I'm going to learn is going to be to use Python in Raspberry Pi. We create code that does something but has no impact on the "physical world", I think that working on something more "real" is going to be cool. I'll try some of your tutorials on Christmas when I have more spare time.
