Greetings from South Africa. The 2.8l engine sounds much better than the 3.0l d4d when reving because it sounds more truck-like.

Only one battery ! Looks like there’s room for a second but it’s not fitted, does it have the “power heat” facility of the old (pre 2016) model ? That’s great in the winter for de icing and warming the cab.

I just engined swaped my toyota hilux's engine to a j engine and kept the turbo in it's a prerunner lowered suspension and no logo at the back of the truck bed manual transmission the old radio instead of touch screen 4 door and that's all
