The plaza over Lansdowne is very new. They're still building it out, but it's going to be a whole tower complex over the track and highway there. Between local and express service, short turns, and the reverse running locals in Newton, the evening peak schedule is quite a marvel of logistical planning. Boston Landing is indeed a new station. I believe it opened 2017. The "Global Market" (actually Star Market) is a bit of a local landmark. It's just a grocery store. They built over the highway because there was limited space available.

The F40PH-4C that was demonstrated at South Station is actually a rebuilt original F40 Screamer. To sum it up the 3C is a rebuilt 2C and the 4C is a rebuilt 1st gen screamer.
