EPIC MOTOR! VINTAGE General Hydraulic Elevator (TO BE DEMOLISHED) At Lawyers Building, Asheville, NC

Thanks to Jackson Slater for originally finding this and thank god I was able to make it here when I did!!!!! This thing has an EPIC CHEWBACCA DRY POWERED MOTOR!!!!!! The fixtures are original EPCO WS Haloline too and this thing is TINY!!!!!!! Overall, pretty cool elevator. With that being said however, I did talk to the owner of the building after I was done filming, and the current owner is selling the building to a New Owner, and the new owner is converting this building into apartments, and this building will be gutted down to it's facade, and the elevator will be/is getting ripped out, which is a real shame as this elevator while TINY, Is SUPER COOL, Has it's ORIGINAL Fixtures and an EPIC MOTOR!!! So with that said, YET ANOTHER EPIC Elevator Bites the Dust!!!! So, enjoy a FINAL RIDE!!!!! Here we go!!!

Seeing all the old elevators that run just fine getting ripped out/modernized/replaced is like seeing somebody dying in a gunfire. 😭

These get Modernized because of Fire Safety Code reqirements and it sounds like you almost get busted by the female person when the video ends
