Some historical context: During a time when the fastest way to look up businesses was through phone books, Acme was a highly sought after name for company. It’s a Greek word that basically means “pinnacle” denoting high quality, and since it starts with AC it would show up early in alphabetical lists. The problem was, so many companies used the name that it would take up entire pages. So when Looney Tunes writers wanted a name for a company that makes everything, but nothing particularly well, they chose Acme.

Or since Cuphead’s universe is directly connected to Popeye’s universe, they simply ship products there.
