It would have been helpful to have some information regarding the buttons/lights on the additional plugs. We've had this system in our home for quite some time, but now one of the "home" buttons is flashing green and I can't suss out the problem.

great video, Dave.  I have just got a T-link wifi extender and have that plugged in upstairs. The problem lies where the iPhone does not automatically switch to the strongest wifi, so when I am downstairs I have to manually connect to the downstairs network. Have you any ideas on how to overcome this issue?

hello i have a devolo magic DIN rail and for some reason it's not work well this day, for me i think that has some internect conflit (i have routers a the devolo system spread around), as devolo don't have dhcp, can u try to guess what is causing this conflict? (home icon blink red some this and other green)

I know i'm a little late haha but i have these for years and they give good wifi so why buy new ones. We just moved to another house and we have allot of internet problems. I personally installed the devolo divices but it doesnt matter where I put the 2nd device in it says that it cant find my IP adress. Do you know a fix for this ??. (both lights are green)

My DEVOLE was working allryght until the moment i do not know why it stop working having house light in and out so as the master piece. How can I do something ?

Hello i have a question. I installed my devolos but they don't work when i try to connect to them to my phone it says that it is getting the IP adress but it never connects and also when i go watch my main devolo who is connected to the modem the light is red instead of green what do i have to do ???

Those who wish to have a plug free underneath or on top, will prefer the Western Digital ones. They also have a long length of cable so you can reach your tv or whatever from the outlet. They are also pretty reasonably priced.

The video is nothing like the instruction book so I am now more confused and doesn't demo the actual details of linking the three devices. The instruction book tells me to note down the network key from underneath one box, but that was not mentioned. I keep hunting for videos that will not tell me it's 'easy' but will really go through each step. I've not found one yet.

I’ve bought two of the identical ones and the master plug hasn’t came why is this and I’ve connected it to my Xbox 1s and it’s giving 0.90 mbps and 433 latency is this because I don’t have the master plug . I only got them today from amazon do u think I could give the one back and get my money back then by the master plug

I am still worried about these and interference with HF radio. Are they still causing the problem? Radio hams love their radios and I would not want to make their lives hell just because I couldn't be bothered to run a cable :(

Does this work with my existing wifi router (same SSID, etc) like an access point, or does it, in effect, create a new wifi network?
