In Q no 18, for the second case I worked out values of [x] assuming students can find out value of x on their own. In second case values of x that you will get are x=-9/2 and x=-4
In Q no 22 for option (d) consider (f-g)^2=(f+g)^2-4fg and f-g>0 so f-g is a differentiable function. Now f+g + f-g is also a differentiable function

In the elimination of numbers in a circle question you gave a formula where you say to consider the nearest power of 2. Should we always take 2^n less than the number or it can be even greater than the given number and then consider it from the last?
