I had a Univega Alpina Uno, my buddy Paul had the Stumpy. Bikes not as reliable back then but loads of fun. Started buying my kids Stumpjumper FS while riding Lighspead hardtail. Finally moved into Stumpjumpers 2009 S Works SJ, love the bike and trail speeds improved over 2 mph. Only downside was frame broke 3x. Specialized was great at replacing. Current stabel is 2016 S Works 27.5 SJ and 2020 S Works SJ 29. Both are rock solid with frame issues corrected and bulletproof. Shout out to Specialized for building great kids bikes. Our son rode Dongbaishong China race on his frist SJ FSR 2007 and at 12 chased Pro's down the mountain. Specialized was great support to have racing overseas. Shops in Shanghai were super great to work with. Looking forward to the magic carpet ride on my next bike. Turing Specialized suspension is easy. I am proud to say my daughter in law just bought a Stumpjumper. Another Jumper in our family.

just great, it looks much better than previous generation, having the levo frame has total sense to use it. hats off for all the innovation, love the brand.

It does not have unmatched personalization. They removed the routing for a mechanical groupset. Absolutely blows my mind. This bike would be on the top of my list except that I will not run wireless.

1) WTF with those prices?? New 15 cost more than previous S-works even on official website.
2) Where is alloy frames and mechanical transmission options?

Basically an analogue bike which looks like my Levo SL and has new bottom-out tech. Nice!

Someone on pinkbike predicted earlier today we would start to see wireless only mountain bikes..

Hallo Specialized Team,
LG Marvin

I think my HT chisel is closer to the old stumpjumper than the new stumpjumper is.

Specialized is sponsoring anyone nowadays 😂

Amazes me how keynotes sound exactly how you think companies are based off their bike's reputations e.g. Giant's are also super dorky/bland, just like their bikes. Spesh is kind of Apple vibes (they make a more polished product) but at the same time very Mutli Level Marketing vibe a la Herbalife etc (which tortures their reputation as this big corporate semi-cult like bike brand).

Need. Not want, need. I'm gonna build one of these up with Shimano and then get divorce papers.

Now it's the same as all of them 😢

As an owner of an early Stumpjumper in the 80's...yes the sport has changed, and not in a good way. Faster ain't always better.

Unmatched personalisation? Think again.
Serve the rider? Think again.

The only damn thing I need to power my bike is the chemical energy I get from healthy aliments I eat, other than that is pure bollocks.
