Fortnite - How to change Priority (Access Denied FIX)

A short tutorial on how to set the Fortnite priority to high (or at least change it) in the task manager. This will help you to improve the overall performance of the game as more resources can be utilized by your PC.

🛠️ Equipment I use: (Mic, PC Components, etc.)

To change the priority we will have to open up our registry by searching for "RUN" and on this dialog box enter "regedit".

Navigate to:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
- SOFTWARE
- Microsoft
- Windows NT
- CurrentVersion
- Image File Execution Options

Right-click on "Image File Execution Options" and make a new key.

Next, right-click on the new key and make an new one again. Name it "PerfOptions".
Lastly, right-click on your "PerfOptions" key and make a new 32-Bit DWORD. This you want to name "CpuPriorityClass".
Double-click on your new DWORD and set the value to 3.

Now you can start Fortnite and change the priority.

Guys in order for this to work please restart your game for this to take action and once restarted it will automatically be set to high! and if its still not working restart your computer!!

After doing this, whenever I try to turn on the game, as soon as it goes the easy anti cheat thingy, it says launch error, invalid game executable:

just wanna say for anyone else who might be in my situation: the access denied error was happening to me with fall guys when i tried to change the cpu priority to high...using this tutorial and just changing the first folder to "FallGuys_client_game.exe" and following the rest of the steps WORKED!!! thank you SO MUCH!

When i then tried to set it to high again, i then got permission denied. Bro, i tried everything inclusive safemode. Nothing worked. I was about to break my own neck, but then i found your fix.
