this video really peaked my interest and i’m so phased by how often i had gotten these wrong its making me wary. i’m sure i will get these right in do time but, if i were to learn these quicker how would i go about that per say? it has honestly taken my breathe away and i wander how many people get these mixed up but it defiantly isn’t 0. it’s so difficult for me to understand all of these confusing words and it’s making me ball😭 and i keep siking myself out with all this. anyways i’m gonna go eat some wantons

Saying “I could care less” implies that you can in fact, care less. It’s “I couldN’T care less”

I would challenge "Sike" being incorrect because it has simply been used in this context consistently enough that it is now accepted that it's how it's spelt. It'd be worse to write "psych". Feels wrong

It doesn't matter how the word is supposed to be spelled it matters how the majority people spell it. Because that's the form of the word that will continue to change and evolve as we do. Language is dynamic it changes just like we do

MOST OF THESE ARE CALLED EGG CORNS, IT'S WHERE YOU UNDERSTAND A SAYING AS DIFFERENT WORDS THAN THEY ACTUALLY ARE BUT THE PHRASE STILL IS UNDERSTANDED WITH THE SAME MEANING. THERE'S A REALLY GOOD VIDEO ABOUT IT THAT I DON'T FEEL LIKE LOOKING UP

People who are legitimately using this advice, keep in mind you do not HAVE to do this for people to know what you are saying, you can get away with using the wrong word sometimes. People do not generally care this much about grammar. So don't stress too much over avoiding these "mistakes".
