Glow in the Dark Science Experiment - Invisible Ink Experiment - Science Cards Craft

This is how you can make a secret message or a Father's Day Card, or a Mother's Day Card or a STEM Holiday Card with invisible ink using bleach!

Materials

Instructions
As a safety percaution, put on gloves and goggles.
Place a little bleach is a small container
Dip your paint brush in bleach (you don't need much) and use that to draw a message on white paper.
Let that dry for 10-20 minutes.
Use your black light to reveal your message.

Safety
Because you are working with bleach, be very careful not to get it in your eyes or on your skin. This will also (obviously) bleach clothing, so you may also want to wear a labcoat.

At the end - Tape a string to the back end of the marker, spin it around like a lasso for a little bit, and try again. Been using this for dry markers for years. Maybe that's another lesson, on centrifugal force? ;)
