Silvia, a hip 20-something, arrives in Los Angeles to visit her girlfriend Gloria. She checks into her BnB and is greeted by Rebecca, her socially awkward, clingy host. Rebecca babbles about nothing and pries incessantly.

Later that night, Silvia returns from her date with Gloria and tries to quietly sneak back inside, where she finds the power has gone out. As she undresses, her phone’s flashlight catches something strange on a nearby bookshelf, which she discovers is a security camera.

When she was talking to her gf after she got out I was like: RUN RUN JUST START RUNNING WHY ARE U CASUALLY TALKING SHE WILL GET YOU.

I just realized that the camera on the ceiling was in the poster that said " Hang In There Beautiful". And Silvia (the main character) looked at it in the beginning.

The landlady are obviously being driven to insanity. Deep into severe extreme depression. Because all of all her guests kept leaving without saying goodbye and she just became a total weirdo. This video was very well done and it really nailed it when she gave her that hug. That was absolutely creepy.

This is really a nice short film. It has such good and unsettling atmosphere a good plot and great performance by the lead actresses. This short film's idea, story and performance are remarkable. The movie makers, writer and the director all did a great job. Thanks to Alter. And Lisa, you nailed it.

If you find a hidden camera there is normally more than one. I always get changed under covers just incase. I may be a tad paranoid but you can never be too careful especial when staying with strangers

The creepiest part of this message is the timing of the release. Especially since the article about a large percentages of Air BnB hosts actually have illegal surveillance equipment in their homes, creeping on guests. 😰

Know what could work as a good key to keep this story going? It's Gloria's text at the end when she said she's running a little behind and asked Silvia to order her an iced coffee. It could be their code that everything's all right or not depending on Silvia's response. First ALTER feature that got me cold hands while watching. Haha

Spoiler alert ! I actually feel bad for the host. Realized by the end that it wasn't her who installed the cameras (the neighbor knew when the guest was leaving). She really was just lonely.
