I did this on my iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 17.2 RC. It does freeze. I left it without restarting it and after about 30-45 seconds it seemed to fix itself. At first I couldn't lock it or anything so I just set it down. After the 30-45 seconds I saw the screen timeout and then it was working again.

I did it at the 2nd try 😂 frozen my phone
But new thing learned about the forced reboot.
It’s been so many years but never new I can’t force reboot iPhone 😅

Yup freeze bug confirmed. One interesting thing was that my cell service wasn’t freezed. I could pick phone calls from my earbuds and after that the phone resprings to normal and unlocks… that’s kinda strange

It’s only on iOS 17! I tried it on my iPhone 6s on iOS 15 and this bug doesn’t exist on the software!
