Wow!! As a man in my fifties, I worry about your generation. Just consider the following:
1. From 1900 through 1970, it was normal for couples to stay married for the next 30, 40, or 50 years. And they truly loved each other regardless of social background.
2. Couples and households endured real hardships such as the Great Depression, the Second World War, the Korean War, The Vietnam War, and the Cold War. Not-to-mention the Civil Rights movement, and the 1973 gas shortage.
