Fate of Prigozhin and Wagner troops remains uncertain due to 'desperate and dangerous' Putin

Wagner mercenary chief Prigozhin halted his troops’ advance to Moscow hours after Putin accused him of “treason” and vowed to crush the armed revolt. The Kremlin says Prigozhin will now be exiled to Belarus and Wagner soldiers will not be prosecuted. Ret. Gen. Barry McCaffrey, Jason Beardsley and Missy Ryan join Nicolle Wallace to break down the damage to Putin's leadership and the impact on the war in Ukraine.

Wherever Prigozhin ends up, he will have to keep looking over his shoulder. Putin does not forgive or forget a slight and certainly will not tolerate an attempt to replace him. Even as we speak, I suspect a package of Polonium or a nerve agent is being prepared for Prigozhin and will be delivered very soon.

Wagner Group is an illegal Organization constitutionally speaking, under Russian Law, or what passes for Russian Law. It's success however has lead many oligarchs, particularly those 'owning' former State Enterprises, or currently running State Assets into forming their own PMC type formations.
What has happened recently, with Prigozhin, especially (essentially) forcing Putin to 'negotiate now has these same oligarchs, and apparatchiks weighing their options, and looing to see what happens next. This has started a clock Putin Regime's days are numbered.
