This story is amazing my only question is why am I hearing about this now because I've heard of all the other great stories of World War 2 which they made movies at of if there's any one story of World War 2 should be made into a movie or at least a part of a movie scene it should definitely be this one

Having only one P51B in a hairball makes him somewhat invincible.

why did they retreat? they could have worn him out or split into 2 groups, one keeps him busy while the other attacks the bombers, he would loose focus for a moment from stressing over the bombers and open up a window for taking him down
