One reason: Moderation

Roblox’s moderation is straight up garbage. You can get banned for saying “hi” the wrong way or just for existing, while actual inappropriate stuff somehow stays up for weeks. The policies make zero sense, the appeal system is a joke, and half the time you don’t even know what you did wrong. Meanwhile, Minecraft lets you play how you want, mod it, host your own servers, and not worry about getting banned over some random filter bot or a few rules breaks. Way more freedom, way less stress. Easy win for Minecraft.
