I've been thinking of selling my GTR R35 (like yours) & buying an AMG GTS but i just can't decide. My mind changes almost daily. I love my GTR, l also love the sound & looks of the AMG GTS.

I had an issue with the gearbox, electronic differential failure! I had a good warranty thankfully and Mercedes AMG Sheffield did a solid job on the repair. The car was 10 times better once that was fixed, a really solid motor. I had the GTS premium in white with black wheels, stunning!

Make sure the turbocharger intercooler fluid is at the same level after the test drive as it was at the beginning.

Tossing up between a 2016 AMG GT/S or a 2013 Porsche 991.1 Carreras S. I am told the AMG is no good for long distance drives. Suspension way to unforgiving. I am likely to use the car for long drives. Any thoughts between the two with respect to comfort over long distances?

Good video, bought one of these as my obtainable dream car after owning many AMGs old and new but have to say I just couldn’t gel with it. Felt way too artificial and not well calibrated for British roads, and little feeling through the steering making it hard to judge the limits on track.

Incredibly quick and a simple map took power to around 620 HP.

You did however miss that there were issues on some cars with the rear wing sticking and not fully retracting - have a Google, it did happen on mine and was a pricey main dealer fix!
