Novak Djokovic takes on Alexander Zverev in the semifinals of the 2021 US Open.

The 2021 US Open main draw runs from August 30 - September 12 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 141st time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Dominic Thiem is the men’s singles defending champion but has withdrawn following an injury. Naomi Osaka is the women’s singles defending champion and will be aiming to claim the title for the third time in four years. Meanwhile, No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic looks to complete the calendar Grand Slam after winning the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon already this year. Should the Serbian lift the title here for the fifth time, he will also overtake Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to become the first-ever man to win 21 Grand Slam singles titles. With full capacity crowds back again, it’s time for the greatest return!

I am watching tennis since my childhood. I have witnessed almost everything the big three did in the tennis arena. But this is different. I am very close of witnessing history which I may not witness ever again in my lifetime. If you are a die hard tennis fan, you can relate to me. Come on Nole! Bring it in!

Over 5 sets Djokovic is on another level compared to everybody else.

If he loses the First set he always wins.
If he wins the First set he never loses.

P.S. Don't take this sentence litterally, it's just for fun👍

I was a huge Andre Agassi fan back in the 90's. He was a baseline player. Until Djokovic arrived at the stage, Agassi had the credential for the greatest returner of all time. But this man Novak Djokovic surpassed Agassi when it comes to returning serve and controlling game from baseline. Not only that, unlike Agassi, he can produce those impeccable drop shots to change the course of the match on pivotal moments. Slowly, he emerged from the shadows of Nadal and Federer. He became their greatest rival. Had it not been for Djokovic, RF and Nadal could have bagged 30 slams each by now. Most importantly, he always had to play in front of a partisan crowd. That's why I like him. He is a fighter, a Maverick, a mental giant who will never give in without a fight. I wish you all the best Novak on Sunday's final. You are a true hero, a great human being and greatest of all time.

I may not know much about tennis history, but I've seen some amazing times and great tennis players in the game. Djokovic makes some of these great players look like mediocre, don't get me wrong, they're awesome in their own rights, but this man Djokovic is at the top of the food chain. His mental strength is unbelievable.

Djokovic on best of five has the psychological edge over everyone. That’s why zverev got down double break in the fifth. If it was just a single break, maybe he could have forced a tiebreak, but Novak is too clutch too often, probably would have been same result anyways.

Novak is so motivated for the CYGS, he has already spent close to 15 hrs on the court now since the tournament commenced. 4th straight match where he dropped the first set & ended up winning. His ability to hit the reset button mentally & focus is unparalleled & unmatched! 💯

I think Nick Bollettieri got it spot on when he described Novak Djokovic as "the most complete player ever" and the "most perfect player of all time". Novak now going for GS No. 21 - just phenomenal.

Novak fan from ind wake up at 4 am and watched the entire match. To be frank i started admiring him since 2014 or 15 by reading local newspapers. Now I am going crazy on him. He is such an incredible guy. Now I know the game rules somewhat. I am fallen in love with tennis.donno i got so emotional and joyful whenever he wins. I don't know how to express my admiration love towards him. I wanna meet this guy atleast once in my life. If I had kids I will definitely make them tennis players. I wanna atleat one grand slam to my country on behalf of my kids. One Wimbledon is enough.
