4:30 that's tradescantia zebrina it will rot eventually fully submerged but will grow well with its roots in the water but the foliage emerged.

I love that there are folks who can make such beautiful tanks like these! I struggle understanding it all but its always been a dream to manage a tank like yours with the 50 fish! I'd pick guppies for my tank though because I really love their pretty tails.

Dude your tanks look so much improved from say a couple years ago! Those are seriously awesome, and I think 50 is a good number for those fish. Although I think my ideal tank i want to try is maybe schools of 12 or so of 3 different species each.

The purple plant you got i have as a House plant
You cant grow it under water, but you can plant it in a Sump or H.O.B. filter.
Or in a very shallow parts on the side of the tank
I have had this plant hanging out of the water on the side of the tank.
Use it like you would use Pothos.

For the fish. I dont think its too many.
I plant and scape my tanks as an Aquascaper, but i stock them as a fishkeeper. 😎

great to see your back!!! you think that screen is thin enough you could still fit a hang on back over it? The only tank i have with a background has a hang on back and i have been trying to get something that lights the back but the equipment and cords all cast shadows.... I have a school of ember tetras, my celestial pearl danios have hijacked it and now you have to look to find them....

I have a question. I have a clogged up diffusor i tried to clean with bleach. even left it over night in pure bleach and no bubbles want to pass through. any ideas what to do?

Ember Tetra are great. They respond very well to a high grade colour enhancement food.

I love Ember Tetra's!!! Got hooked when I saw them on sale at Petco a few times for $1 on the 5 for $5 sale. Hoping to see that sale again because I think they're $3.49 now! 😭
