I just bought this same model from Sweetwater. Epiphone has really stepped up its game in the past two years. The craftsmanship is superb, neck-through-body design, Grover tuners, Graph Tech TUSQ Nut, same Gibson hardware, and some seriously hot Epiphone pro buckers, plays great, the vintage finish was flawless. One hell of a buy at $600!

I bought one from Sweetwater a few months ago, and love it! The only thing I did was adjust the action a bit, and new strings. It is a great playing, and sounding guitar!

Beautiful guitar and playing btw. Epiphone did their homework on this one. Everything I have watched and read about these is nothing but positive, glowing reviews. Neck through construction, great pick ups etc And at around six hundred and some dollars excellent value for the money. Firebirds are cool guitars! 👍

I just picked up this FB from SW a few weeks ago and I am very impressed with this guitar. Finish, neck & frets are all good. Only needed a few minor tweaks as with any new guitar and it was good to go. Stays in tune and the pickups are warm and balanced to my ears. I wanted a Gibson, but they stopped making them a few years ago and I didn't really want used. I've been playing for 40 years and have a good-sized collection and if you told me this was a $1500 Gibson, I'd believe you. Definitely worth the $649. No question. Good job Epiphone & SW!

Nice. I see it has a 9 ply neck. Looks like same specs as the vintage pro Thunderbird. If so, then the street price should be about the same 650-700. Im definitely getting one as im a t bird fan and love firebirds aswell and have been wanting on since i discovered them. A proper neck thruogh body standard not the set neck studio
