in the US my dr has been treating me for 15 years for a 'mystery illness' that's quite severe and has required hospitalization and pain killers. ive had my suspicions that I had parasites all my life but wasn't able to prove or get any positive tests for what I thought were gut worms and amoebic infection. finally i convinced my dr to give me mebendazole after much pleading with no medical reason. after taking the second dose i passed a large tapeworm about a meter long. we weren't able to identify it but I think it was feline tapeworm or fish tapeworm. after that experience my symptoms cleared up but I never really reached full health and vitality. ive been sick with gut worms all my life and they've had a profound effect on my health. its now my opinion that ive always had hookworm and pinworm and acquired a tapeworm sometime in the last 15 years. recently i became extremely ill and again to the drs its a great mystery after ct scans, fecal, urine and blood testing i was being looked at as a faker or a drug seeker. finally my condition is so bad that im going to the hospital and dr weekly to try to survive the incredible pain in my guts in the morning after a BM and the weight loss, malnutrition and malabsorption became so bad i felt like i was going to die very soon im 5 feet 10 inches tall and i weighed 120# my normal weight is 145#. so i convinced the dr to prescribe albendazole again without a positive test based on my anecdotal evidence and hearsay. occam's razor says something is wrong with me all tests are negative so we have only a couple of possible causes left on the table. i took my prescription to the pharmacy and it was $13, 000 US!! i went back to tell the dr and they gave me a different prescription two more times costing $10, 000 and $4, 000. this drug albendazole is the premier anthelmintic medication used all over the world and is freely available over the counter in places like ukraine and sri lanka. I went on ebay and found zentel which is albendazole and purchased 16 200mg tablets for $56. I was advised by my dr to go to a canadian online pharmacy which can get drugs from all over the world. they found my prescription in india for $42. i began to take the ebay medication i previously purchased and im nearly cured and fell better than I have in many years. drs in the usa don't treat parasites they don't even consider them.
