Swans of Saraswati, a telugu contemporary Carnatic progressive rock number, is an original composition of the Bangalore based band Agam. The song is inspired by the Carnatic classic ‘Bantureethi Kolu’ by Tyagaraja in the ‘Hamsanadam’ raga.

tuṇṭa-viṇṭivāni modalaina

Yes the song is a Telugu song. Lord hanuman expressing his devotion towards Lord Rama. The song is so beautiful and Agam has just completely done justice to the song. I Loved the song and been on a loop for days. I am glad to see such pure form of talent from our South India. If only people from all over the country can recognize this out bursting talent we hold!! What a great fusion without missing essence of original kriti... we are lucky that Harish born in south india.. he has taken carnatic fusion to greatest level. Kudos to his team as thier contribution is equally valuable especially the lead guitarist
