I remember the first time I heard this track. It was on a radio station out of Mexico. I lived in the US but we could hear the station here. I had just discovered this station by accident, "Fusion 1110". And this was one of the very first tracks I heard the station play. It blew me away. I was just discovering electronic music at that time in the early 90's. And I think this track heavily influenced my taste in music. To this day, this track gives me goosebumps and I still blast this track in my car.

The chord progression is genius in this track.
The chords don't simply "repeat", but on every repetition, everything gets pitched up one note.
So throughout the song, the pitch slowly rises.

Really weird, but maybe that's why it sounds so magical.

I was around 14 years old when I first heard this, fell in love there and then with Trance music. 40 now and it's still my favourite of practically any music genre.

The hairs on my arms and neck still stand up, I still get them shivers down my spine and that tingling sensation through my body whenever I listen to this 😁😁
Love it.

This track stands as one of the icons of good trance music, never to be diminished. It's nearly sacrosanct, reserved only for the ears of gods.

the 90s ravers born in the 70s are the pioniers, without them there was no EDM, the love peace and xtc vibe, the mega house temples....the new generations dont have a clue

Fockin classic, Carl Cox & Laurent Garnier used to belt this out in their sets when I was in my teenage years and going to my first festivals, and making steps away from my Goth roots and stomping into a bright future of raving my socks off ! Thirty years on and I may not be swinging from the chandeliers in night clubs, but I still love listening to decent Techno & Jungle (amongst so much other amazing music of diverse and varied genres!) & I still hold dear the beliefs of PLUR & could probably manage a local - ish night's dancing IF music, company & thingz were quality& it finished before 4am !!!!

I remember listening to this back in the 90's on the radio, and this song being played. I recorded it onto my cassette tapes from the radio via record button...(I know retro style but worked lol) I still have them, you couldn't hear songs like this on the mainstream radio like Z100, KTU etc not mainstream since they would never play trance, edm etc unless it was mainstream like Children or Blue something like that. But I listened to this back in the day on 88.9 FM NYC, they'd play club music, techno, trance, EDM in general etc every Thursday or Friday(can't remember which) and the DJ was a chick, really cool she took calls, requests. Sadly they got rid of it years ago. I guess with the internet getting so big, stations like that on the radio are extinct now unless it's a verified music channel. Was never a big club head, been to a few here and there but loved the music ever since I heard the MK song way back that song got me hooked onto EDM in general plus being a HUGE MK fan since the first game, like a match made in heaven for me.

Fascinating to me is how a lot of these 90's trance classics repeat their signature melodic-hook throughout pretty much the entire track, yet it never gets stale...even decades later! See also Universal Nation, First Rebirth, Lost in Love, Cybertrance and many more.

Trance made today just doesn't seem able to get away with it. Now trance 'insists upon itself' (to borrow a phrase from Family Guy) whereas classic trance simply 'tranced'.
