Viral Chocolate Bar with Crispy Phyllo Dough and Pistachio Cream
Ingredients:- (makes 6 chocolate bars)
3 chocolate bar molds
Edible gold paint (for decoration, optional)
300g dark chocolate (54% cocoa)
300g shredded phyllo dough
1 to 2 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon tahini
200g pistachio cream (store-bought)
Instructions:-
1. Prepare the Molds:
- Drizzle a small amount of edible gold paint into each chocolate bar mold for decoration.
- Allow the gold paint to dry for about 5 minutes.
2. Melt the Chocolate:
- Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.
- Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into each mold, creating the base layer.
- Place the molds in the freezer for 20 minutes to set.
3. Prepare the Phyllo Dough:
- Cut the shredded phyllo dough into smaller pieces.
- In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the shredded phyllo dough and roast until it turns a golden colour.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
4. Mix the Filling:
- In a bowl, combine the cooled phyllo dough with tahini and pistachio cream. Mix well.
5. Assemble the Chocolate Bars:
- Remove the chocolate molds from the freezer.
- Add the phyllo dough mixture evenly on top of the chocolate base in each mold.
- Pour the remaining melted chocolate over the phyllo mixture, spreading it to cover completely.
6. Set the Bars:
- Place the filled molds back in the freezer for another 20 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.
7. Enjoy:
- Once set, remove the chocolate bars from the molds and enjoy your homemade viral chocolate bars with crispy phyllo dough and pistachio cream!
