I just wanted to tell you that my 92 year old client loved that Mexican OT. That song was always something I can spit to her to get her up and moving. She passed last week. But a couple of days before she passed she told her son she wanted to see me. She wasn’t really alert or responsive. They couldn’t get her to open her eyes, eat or anything.
But when we got on FaceTime, she slightly opened her eyes for me. But that was it. Until I said LV umbrella when I walk through the rain, in the kitchen with chicken countin bread like canes…..
She opened her eyes and smiled. And never opened them again. Today is her funeral.
I say all this to let you know your music reaches all ages. I love the down home country, hood vibe you have going on. Best of both worlds. Salute
