LIVE High Definition (HD) broadcast of the Greek Orthodox Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom commemorating the 2nd Sunday of Matthew.

The Greek Orthodox Church celebrates the 2nd Sunday of Matthew because it is the day when the Gospel reading focuses on Jesus calling on his disciples to follow him. The Gospel reading for this day is from Matthew 4:18-23, which describes how Jesus called on Simon Peter and his brother Andrew to follow him and become "fishers of men."

Our Eastern Orthodox service is conducted mainly using English and Greek and streamed LIVE from Saint Mark Greek Orthodox Church in Boca Raton, Florida.

Today, we commemorate:
2nd Sunday of Matthew,
Leontius, Hypatius, & Theodulus the Martyrs of Syria,
Leontios the Myrrh-Streamer of Argos,
Aitherios the Martyr of Nicomedia

Readings:
Epistle Reading: St. Paul's Letter to the Romans 2:10-16
Gospel Reading: Matthew 4:18-23
