Thought everyone knew to not go for opponents balls

If you go for your opponents balls. You must cup them gently. A foul may still be called. However you can control their next shot by the grip

The trick with all of these shorts is to be very wary of that guy standing there watching you

NO idea why these started showing up, but it has definitely shown me quite a bit more about how tactical the game really is.

To clarify, strictly the loss of frame is called when you Deliberately play this shot, yes? If you were aiming to hit your ball but accidentally missed, and in doing so pot your opponent's ball, this would just be a standard foul, right?

Why is it an immediate loss of frame? Shouldn’t it just be a foul with ball in hand for the opponent?

Idk why people are confused, just listen to what he says. If it’s intentionally to scratch and POT your opponent ball it’s a loss of frame (lose that one rack and start another rack to whatever the race is) now obviously if it’s not intentional then it’s just ball in hand

These are great instructional videos for pool rules!

I've noticed some of these comments come from people who dont take the time to push unwanted videos and channels away from them.

We can complain about anything, for some reason, they choose one of the most sensible videos to say something disaggreable.

But it's going to be alright :)

You guys are great, thanks for what you do 👍

"Loss of frame." "Why?" "You're playing too normally."

wonder how much it would cost to hire a stern british guy to just stand near my pool table 24/7 and watch me like a hawk and call fouls

I mean seems obvious to someone who has played, but I'm glad their also covering the basics

My opponent sets me a safety and I can't play my ball directly. I play over the forehand, don't hit my ball, but hit my opponent's ball. Do I then also lose the frame?

This one is a good one. This is a pretty crucial rule

Nice rule. Didn't know it's the same penalty as potting the black ball when not on black yet

so he shoots his own ball, then shoots his opponents ball and just loses?

theres context missing, even at a bar you dont intentionally sink yours then your opponents ball

Nah I've never seen that in a league match. Maybe at high level play, but not at league level. It's a common strategy if you're badly snookered and need to break their run.

This feels like when uno tweeted thst you cant play a +4 into qnother +4

But why would you hit the opponent's ball into the hole and why would you get a penalty for helping the opponent?
(I know this may be a completely noob question but these are the first pool videos I ever watched in my life, they started showing up randomly and you know it)
