Stella Rimington - author of the Liz Carlyle series

Dame Stella Rimington joined the Security Service (MI5) in 1968. During her career she worked in all the main fields of the Service: counter-subversion, counter-espionage and counter-terrorism. She was appointed Director General in 1992, the first woman to hold the post. She has written her autobiography and five Liz Carlyle novels. She lives in London and Norfolk.

Close Call, published in July 2014, is Rimington's third book for Bloomsbury.

its 2025 and Im reading your book. Im up to chapter 12 and the more I read the more interesting I urge to know the climax of your story. Liz is very smart and brave and I hope at the end she will finally go on a proper date wit Dave not just friends but more ☺️

p.s whats more interest is you’re writing from experience so I would like to think that this story is non fiction ❤️
