Parliamentary vetting in Ghana in my opinion is absolutely waste of time and money

Vetting is an important part of any democratic system. The problem is who you select to conduct the process - here in the US, it is over-politicized and with Ghana, it is grandstanding and trying to embarrass. There needs to be clear standards for the process and not asking stupid questions.

Ministerial vetting is not primarily about eliminating candidates, but rather about ensuring that the individuals selected for ministerial positions are suitable and capable of performing their roles effectively. The president typically nominates individuals they believe are qualified for the position.
