Just talked to a total by verizon rep, and they did indicate that it unlocks on day 61 of service.

Set up a VPN at home, connect to a EU network and update the iOS. Simlock will be unlocked. Simlock is not allowed in the EU

Plug the SE into a TV and use a controller. You'll be surprised how powerful that chip is for the price, you'll have a mini console for cheap.

Got this SE for $50 during black friday. Only had to pay first month's service, and wait 60 days for it to automatically unlock. Total came out to ~$110

I’m watching this on the one I bought yesterday from walmart

Interesting how the 11 came in the thinner box, I remember it being the last iPhone that had the thick box that actually included a power adapter and EarPods.

as an italian guy, seeing those prices for monthly mobile plans is shocking.. Here you can have like unlimited calls and 200+ gb of mobile data for 8 bucks a month or less...

I bought a iPhone 12 through straight talk in march. I’ve had service on it ever since I bought it. Today I checked and it was just automatically unlocked. So happy

If anyone was wondering which one to get, I would DEFINITELY go for the se 3. Sure, the iPhone 11 has the better screen, battery, and cameras, but at the same time, the 11 won't be supported for too much longer. The se 3 just released two years ago, so it should have another four years of updates, and I would definitely say it's worth the price it's being sold for.

the SE 3 at its base 449 price point is ridiculous, but for 149? amazing

I actually work for Verizon prepaid sector inside Walmart and most of our phone sales are these phones. I've never once had any issues with these getting returned or having to set them up as I do in store set up also. I highly recommend people getting these phones even if it's just for the month.

The SE 3rd Gen I got during the promo in January (missed the Black Friday one) was a GODSEND for my trip in Japan. Japan uses a variety of transportation cards, mainly Suica, for their train and bus systems. Androids not bought in Japan cannot use digital versions, but iPhones bought anywhere can. If you have a no transaction fee card that will add money to the digital Suica, you basically have a much easier time getting around the country. The SE is also the best option as its the smallest phone, so with the right case and passport wallet, you can just carry it around in front of your passport in the pocket without having it slip out and setup to where you just tap the iPhone, or in this case your passport wallet, onto the NFC reader, no powering the screen on needed

I just got a brand new iPhone 14 on Tuesday using only the money I earn on my YouTube channel since I don't have a regular job (I'm a teenager, 14). I upgraded from an iPhone 8. I'm very much impressed with the battery life on this phone right now. I took if off charge Wednesday morning at about 9AM and didn't plug it in until yesterday evening around 7pm and it was still at 55%. Very first phone I bought with my own money too!

I work at Walmart’s electronics department. The reasons for the cheap prices is the other carrier listed there “Straight Talk” Walmart biggest prepaid provider. These phones can be had for even less at times with special promotion running for a couple of weeks. For the SE we’ve seen $99 with a new line and in store activation. During a Black Friday event the same SE was completely free with the same new line and in store activation. It can be tricky to get these promotions as a third party vendor that works inside of Walmart selling post paid phones “Premium Wireless” are the ones primarily responsible for doing the promotion but most of them are not willing to do it for the customers as they don’t make as big of a cut from it as compared to selling their required post paid phone for per day.

Im an electronics associate at walmart and I must say you got a pretty good deal on these iphones. Cricket, boost, and AT&T versions of these are more expensive. Prices vary between different prepaid carriers. Unfortunately my store does not carry total by version because our area doesn't meet the coverage requirements to sell verizon and their subsidaries. I used an iphone 11 for a few years. Still a good iPhone from my own personal experience. Wal-mart now sells the iPhone 12 as a prepaid option. Soon enough the iPhone 16 or iPhone 15's successor may be when the iPhone 13 will become a prepaid option.

Thanks for your video, love it, my first iPhone was a 6 and I paid $49.00 brand new with Cricket wireless, it was 3 years old at the time and it served my purpose, now I have the 12 and it was $100 bucks, I don't need to spend a lot of money to get a dated but still capable phone with a great camera. Again, thanks for the info.
