I prefer the trackpad because I become so familiar with the gestures while using the laptop alone that when I plug it up to the dock and use it at my desk I am right at home with getting stuff done.

The Magic Trackpad is better! I have both, but trackpad is much much better.

I have both and I recently had my iPad stolen and used the pencil for art. The trackpad works amazingly for drawing if you need to. Trackpad wins

I use an old school 1st Gen Magic Trackpad and it does the job just fine. The only thing is the older one runs on standard AA batteries that will need replacement often. But as long as it works its fine with me.

If you are a big game player, I would actually recommend a good PC type gaming mouse which is what I have specifically just for games. As good as Mac's are and as much as I love them, gaming is one area that PC's still rule supreme in almost all areas.

Great Video, thanks for your keen interest to review the differences. 💐💐 My opinion is, those who trained-up with Mac book track pad, pls go to magic trackpad, don't go to magic mouse, you will get irritated while using the magic mouse, it never give the speed of gestures what your trackpad gives, one more thing why i bought magic trackpad is when i use my macbook over the full day, my wrist feels some discomfort because of folding the hand and using the mac book trackpad, but when you use the magic trackpad, you can feel the magic as you can keep the trackpad next to your macbook and you won't feel any difficulties on your wrist ...

Can you use the trackpad via or and turn off the Bluetooth wireless on the track pad?

I tend to get a little hand and finger stiffness when using the trackpad. Does anyone else? I guess it’s from always having to support the remaining hand while one finger is manipulating the track pad. At this point, the Magic Mouse is better because my hand rests naturally over the whole mouse.

The Magic Mouse is an awful mouse. It’s laggy and the ergonomics are simply terrible. Please, anyone reading this, rather save and get the trackpad.
