Quadratic Formula Area 'Show That' - GCSE Level 7

This video is all about the quadratic formula and forms part of the playlist of quadratic questions. I've also added to the playlist on GCSE higher revision.

The question is aimed at around level 7 GCSE maths:

The area of the compound shape is 95cmsquared. Show that 2xsquared = 6x - 95 = 0

sir please I want to ask a question about the second bit where you find the x, although I know how to use the quadratic formula but I tried to use completing the square method to solve find the x but I got different answers to that of the quadratic formula. I really need your help sir, which is which?
