It is so satisfying to purge! I keep a medium size shopping bag in my walk in closet to hold the items that I either don't use anymore or that have been replaced by another favorite. When it's pretty full I contact my good friend to let her know that I have more makeup and skin care for her and her 14 yr old daughter. They have such fun going through it all and are very grateful. She is always thanking me and telling me that I've saved them so much money. What a great feeling!

Stephanie, if you’re doing a makeup video, where whatever shirt you want! I can’t imagine having to think about someone who might love your shirt and being disappointed if it’s not available when you’re doing an eyeshadow tutorial. Us subscribers will be fine.

I’m laughing because I can hear the fear in your voice! It’s so funny that people get upset at these videos. As far as Marc Jacobs, I heard he is reformulating everything? His eyeliner is the only one that works for me so I bought up several. Hopefully he will do a relaunch. I really like his makeup.

Suggestion for those items you cannot link: just list and label them in the description box so others know what they are and if they already have them in their collection they can pull them out. Otherwise, no worries! OR, do a video of declutters and which items you are keeping in their ‘place’. To me, the ‘what’ of the declutter is less significant than your thought process in getting there. Love your channel - keep up the great work!

Loved this video! I’ve been seriously purging my wardrobe and makeup collection for the past 18 months (basically since Covid) and I’ve also been employing the one-in, one-out philosophy with any new purchase, it’s so freeing. Like Marie Kondo says, if it does not bring you joy, then it either gets donated or tossed. Except my old work wardrobe of expensive suits, accessories and shoes. Something is seriously wrong with me, I retired early to help care for my Mother. I never want to return to the corporate world, so why can’t I get rid of these items?? Ugh. P.S. I agree, Tom Ford lipsticks totally get rancid and much quicker than other brands - just not worth it, I quit buying them. 💖

You've inspired me to get rid of my old lipsticks. I love so many of them and some I don't like but they are expensive so I've been holding on to them.. I know I will feel better when they are tossed but just starting to purge is tough for me.

I was doing this a couple of weeks ago and I was shocked at how much makeup I had wasted (it's different for you because you're a YT'r and HAVE to buy lots and lots and lots of products).
So, I have decided I'm only going to buy products I really want AND I'll check to see if I've got something similar already.

Absolutely devastated about the Nars Velvet Lip Glides. The shades Bound & Roseland are my all time favourite ever lip products, & I am so sad that I can’t buy them anymore. I don’t understand why they were discontinued, as they were really popular. I really hope they bring them back.
