They've said the licensing cost for the missing games would have cost more than the development cost of the entire collection. Slightly unfair to hold it against them.

I think this is a much needed collection it gives a lot of people a chance to re play or just play some wonderful games for the first time plus it's pretty much €1 per game and to me that is unbeatable value for new gen console games.Hopefully down the line the rights for the other games could be acquired by microsoft and the games could be added who knows

Thanks for another great video! This would be one of the games more than likely that would make me want a Xbox one. I always feel like a need a modest sized list of games I can't play elsewhere in order to get a new console. This would be on the list for sure. Again, thanks for sharing!

Really wish we could get Conker in full screen, and change the camera controls, not be stuck with inverted controls. Also, there should have been far more new games, not relics from the 80s. Fun for old-times like me, probably not for young people.

Fully agree we should have had more golden-age games, too.

I'm curious on the frame rate for Conker's Bad Fur Day. It ran like around 20-25 on N64 and it would kind of suck to play on that frame rate with what we are used to today.

Good review, but I don't think it should lose two points for not having those games. If Rare owned Donkey Kong, they would definitely be there, but I didn't ever expect them to get Donkey Kong. He's still a main character for Nintendo. Additionally, Microsoft already tried to remake Goldeneye on Xbox Live Arcade like they did Perfect Dark, but lost the rights half way through. So although it does suck, I don't think it should lose points

While an 8/10 is still a good score, docking points for something we all know wasn't going to happen before release is rather silly, to be honest. Goldeneye would've required a renewed license which would've been expensive. There's no way Nintendo would let their games be on an Xbox platform (DKC Trilogy, 64, and Diddy Kong Racing). And besides, Perfect Dark is an improvement over Goldeneye. If you were to criticize Rare Replay for excluding a few games, targeting the exclusion of Time Lord or the original Killer Instinct would've been more understandable since they do still have the IP's for those franchises.

3killabytes Why Battletoads in Battlemaniacs isn't there, I absolutely love that game, is a shame that also haven't included Conker's Reloaded from the original Xbox. Anyway I think is a great compilation and I already have the DKC games on the WiiU virtual console and GoldenEye is pretty cheap for the N64.
