I'm in the same business as Deere, we're getting killed. We used to export a lot to Europe and Asia but with sanctions against Russia and tanking EU economies, business is going elsewhere. China has also canceled some huge grain deals with USA, so crop prices are way down.

American and EU farmers are losing markets to global south countries, who benefit from cheap Chinese farm machinery, and the cheap Russian fertilizer we no longer have access to. We arealso losing the financial sector to BRICs. It’s a long term trend.

Here in Massachusetts 3 huge hospitals closed earlier this year and on 10/31/24 6 Stop and Shop groceries stores closed.Stop and Shops are Ma. biggest grocery store chains.

To preserve our hegemony, we're shooting ourselves in the foot with economic and monetary sanctions on countries around the world, killing the EU economy by starving it from cheap energy, and fomenting wars that are disrupting supply chains and causing uncertainty. And, the monthly hiring numbers have been revised downwards more often than not, which is a sign of a hurting economy. We'll see how long can this go on!
