general guide on my drawing process | Princess Mononoke Speedpaint

This is truly an attempt at giving a semi-tutorial on the overview of my digital art process. This covers, briefly, the tools and settings, basic layers I use, and tips on coloring and brush usage. I use my (sorta) recent speedpaint of Studio Ghibli's Princess Mononoke as a basis for my guide.

I know I'm pretty terrible at posting regularly but I hope this can be helpful for entertaining for some of you. I had such a bad time rendering the video (it kept dying on certain clips), this better be worth it LOL jk it trash

Hey guys! Quick note on this piece: I didn't squash the layers as early as I thought, but I did do a pretty much complete overpainting separately for the girl and the wolf (I wanted to keep them separate). So in a way I was still drawing on one layer for the main subjects (excluding lighting effects), but just separately from each other in case I wanted to adjust their placements relative to each other. Normally if it was just one subject, my voiceover would be more accurate but hahaha I always wrekt myself I guess. Goes to show I don't always 100% do the same thing every time, just a general similar process depending on the piece. Feel free to ask questions!

to blend with the same brush to block in color, do you change the opacity/brush density, or just use 2 seperate brushes?
