"I hosted SNL, that really gave me a foundation of hosting because they really just put you through a ringer in those seven days, and then they throw you in front of a camera and they're like, you're live across the nation. I think I'd like three days to work on my monologue, you know, because the other days you're, like, so busy doing the other things and workshopping the sketches and figuring out how are you going to wear one wig and then do a quick change and be on stage. You know, it's like there's so much going on. And then they're like, oh, by the way, you have the whole monologue thing that you have to do. So don't forget that. And I feel like once you've been through that, you feel like you can do anything, you know? And so that's kind of actually opened up like a whole, like, tangential career of, of hosting."
