Well the second top scorer in Barcelona was Sanchez and he scored 13 goals. The second top scorer in Real Madrid was Benzema with 22 goals and after that Higuain with 21. That just proves that Barcelona only plays to Messi so Ronaldo deserves Ballon d'or this year. And without Ronaldo Portugal wouldn't have made it to the semi-finals.

i hate how everyone always brings up the ronaldo/messi battle. it would be one thing if everyone was positive about it but they're not. Ronaldo and Messi are both great players with different skill sets, they play for different teams so of course, there will be different statistics. I at first didn't care for Messi but grew to like him, Ronaldo is my personal favorite; but both are great.

Nice win against Chivas! To bad Chivas isn't anywhere near as good as they use to be. At this moment Chivas is in last place in the Mexican league. I hope one day Real Madrid or Barca plays either the recent champion Tigres or my team Santos Laguna.

Team glory is above everything. messi 73 goals but what trophy? fifa club worldcup and UEFA super cup (barca definetely win even with reserve squad). Kings cup (you only need 1 win and 1 draw). Copa del rey (same like madrid last year). Barcelona won all of it only in 14 match that held once or twice/month. Madrid won la liga in 38 match that held every week.

Well Chivas are a REALLY great team but you cant face against one of the top strikers of the world as a goalkeeper. Especially in penalties. But Chivas did great even for their loss their defence is nice. Thats how they couldn't score a goal in the first half, especially since Luis Michel is a pro at goalkeeping.
